This recipe will show you how to make juicy burgers, crispy fries, and smoky corn on the cob using the Engel Master BBQ grill and fire place.
Prep time: 30 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
4 burger buns
4 slices of cheese
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices
4 onion slices
Salt and pepper to taste
Ketchup, mustard, mayo, or your favourite condiments
4 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons of oil
teaspoon of paprika
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
4 ears of corn
Butter and salt to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the Engel Fire to high heat. You can use charcoal in the Engel Master if you prefer. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties—season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Cut the potatoes into thin wedges and toss them with oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet on the Engel Fire’s pizza stones and bake for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Peel back the husks of the corn ears and remove the silk. Rub some butter and salt on the kernels and pull the husks back over them.
- Place the corn ears on the Engel Fire’s grill rack and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and tender.
- Place the burger patties on the Engel Fire’s BBQ rack and cook for about 4 minutes per side or until your desired doneness. Top each patty with a slice of cheese in the last minute of
cooking and let it melt. - Butter and toast the burger buns on the Engel Fire’s grill rack for about a minute or until
lightly golden. - Assemble the burgers by spreading condiments on the bottom bun, adding a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, an onion slice, a cheeseburger patty, and the top bun. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Serve the burgers with fries and corn on the side.
Enjoy your delicious meal cooked on the Engel Master.
